Returns and exchanges

If you are contemplating a purchase and visiting this page to make sure you can return the product if you decide that it is not what you expected, we are happy to inform you that we can make a customized product for you!

Such a project is tailored to your needs, taking into account all your requirements. This way you don't have to worry that something won't fit correctly. We invite you to cooperate with us in the spirit of sustainable production! More information can be found in the Custom Order section!

 

If you have already received your product and it doesn't meet your expectations, please get in touch with us and describe your issue. It's possible that the problem arises from insufficient explanation of the product’s usage and we might be able to help you easily.

Before deciding to return the product, please consider exchanging it for a new one. We care about your satisfaction, and if you're willing to give us a second chance, let us prove ourselves and choose to replace the product with a new one, in which we will address all aspects that are unsatisfactory to you.

Also, please remember that each of our products is handmade specifically for you. We create our assortment in the spirit of zero waste, often from upcycled materials that may vary slightly. Differences also result from the nature of handcrafted products: individual items will not be 100% identical to the prototype, but that's where the magic lies. Every product is unique! :)

 

If you still want to return the ordered product, remember that:

  • As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract concluded in our Online Store within 14 days without stating any reason. The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day you acquire the item or from the day a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires the ordered item.
  • To exercise your right to withdraw from the contract, you need to inform us about your decision to withdraw from the contract before the withdrawal period expires. 
  • To make a return, download and complete the contract withdrawal form, which is available as an attachment to the website Terms Of Service or in Attachment No. 2 to the Consumer Rights Act. Include the completed form with the returned products. Please ensure careful packaging and protection of the parcel.
  • Send the shipment with the returned items to us at the address: Wasted Couture, ul. Malczewskiego 2/2, 71-616 Szczecin, Poland. Please note that we do not accept shipments sent to us with cash-on-delivery, via the "e-przesyłka" service, or through parcel lockers. You are responsible for the cost of returning the returned goods. You can check the cost of returning your parcel at this address: https://allekurier.pl/. You will receive a notification from us after the shipment is delivered.
  • The refund of all payments, including the delivery costs, will be made within 14 days from the date of receiving the product. The refund of transaction costs will be carried out by bank transfer. In the case of payment methods such as PayU, traditional bank transfer, and PayPal, the refund will be made to the account from which the payment for the order was made.
  • The consumer provisions contained in this announcement apply from January 1, 2021 and for contracts concluded from that date also to buyers who are individuals entering into a contract directly related to their business activity when the content of that contract implies that it does not have a professional character for that person, particularly resulting from the subject of the business activity carried out by them, made available on the basis of the provisions on the Central Registry and Information on Economic Activity.

To initiate an exchange of the ordered product, please follow these steps:: 

  • Send us a message using one of the following methods:
    • Electronically via email to: contact@wastedcouture.net.
    • In writing to the address: Wasted Couture, ul. Jacka Malczewskiego 2/2, 71-616 Szczecin.
  • In your message, include the following information:
    • Type of purchased product (model, size).
    • Date of purchase.
    • Proof of purchase - receipt/invoice.
    • Description of objections - please describe in detail what defects prompted you to request an exchange. The more precisely you can describe the nature of your concerns, the better the result of our work on creating a corrected copy will be.
  • Send the shipment with the item to be exchanged to the address: Wasted Couture, ul. Malczewskiego 2/2, 71-616 Szczecin, Poland. Please note that we do not accept shipments sent to us with cash-on-delivery, via the "e-przesyłka" service, or through parcel lockers. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item. You can check the cost of returning the package at this address: https://allekurier.pl/. You will receive a notification from us after the shipment is delivered.
  • The next stage is creating a new product, correcting all the issues you have raised. We will complete it no later than the maximum production time indicated in the parameters of a given product. Before sending you the new order, we will send you photos so that you can assess whether all the modifications fully satisfy you. You have 7 days to approve the project based on the photos or provide further feedback. Not responding within this timeframe will be considered as acceptance and will result in the shipment of the product. The package with the corrected product will be sent to the correspondence address provided for the exchange order. However, if you would like us to send the parcel to a different address, do not forget to inform us about it. Wasted Couture is responsible for the reshipment cost.
